Fag Tag is a regular party that takes over a different venue in Sydney each time, or Fag Tags it.
It's about getting together all of your friends - gay, lesbian, straight and all in between - and partying outside of your normal environment. Each time a different, traditionally straight, venue is chosen to be Fag Tagged based on its music and atmosphere. The word is spread among friends to come and party the night away. It's one way of giving gays, lesbians and their friends an alternative night out rather than the usual, limited choices.
You don't have to be a fag to come to Fag Tag, you just have to be fag friendly. Gays, lesbians, friends, sisters, siblings, cousins, ex-fags, hags, can't decides, closets: you're all welcome.
The next Sydney Fag Tag is on Sunday April 18 at the Piano Room in Kings Cross.

Fag Tag 6th Birthday!
It's our birthday this Sunday afternoon, and you're invited to the party. We're holding it at one of Sydney's best venues, The Loft at King Street Wharf. Head down to the water's edge at 3 Lime Street and enter into the super luxe surroundings for the afternoon.
Come see why The Loft has won the title of new Bar of the Year, as well as been named one of the World's Top 100 Bars. We're turning 6 years old, and want to make this brand new destination one of the most fun Fag Tags we've done. The whole place will be ours from 4pm on Sunday arvo, and it's the perfect indoors/outdoors venue for a Winter birthday Fag Tag.
As it's a special Fag Tag, entry is $10 this Sunday, and that includes a complimentary cocktail on arrival made by the award-winning Loft bartenders. We'll see you there this weekend.
